Create an Account and Open the User Dashboard
Open the account creation page below and enter the username and password you want to use. VPNYW doesn’t require an email address; you can create an account with just a username and password. Choose a username that’s easy to remember, and use a password that’s different from those you use on other sites. Before submitting, check your entries, especially whether Caps Lock or an input method is affecting the password field. Save your login details before continuing. Your order, subscription, and client links will all be in the same user dashboard.
After submitting, follow the on-screen instructions to open the dashboard. If you’re still on the login page, sign in with the username and password you just saved—there’s no need to create another account. If you already have an account, use the sign-in page to avoid purchasing a plan under a different account. Once you’re in, open Account Overview first and make sure you’re looking at the right account, then go to the plans section.
Your account manages your subscription; it doesn’t mean the client is connected. If you can’t see any available servers yet, or the download section says you need an active plan, complete the next step first. Don’t install multiple clients before your account is ready. Confirm the dashboard status first to make it easier to troubleshoot the import process later.
Choose a Plan and Check Your Order Status
Open the plans section in the user dashboard and choose based on your typical data usage, not just the number of devices. VPNYW supports unlimited simultaneous devices, but all devices on the same account share its data allowance. Everyday browsing uses much less data than frequent video streaming. If you’ll use several devices, factor in their combined usage. If you’re unsure, compare the plan details before choosing.
Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not on the first day of each calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Data packages are also available: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, or ¥658 for 3000GB. Package data lasts until it’s used and never expires. Monthly subscriptions and data packages work differently, so confirm which type you’ve selected before placing your order.
On the order page, check the plan name, data allowance, and amount due. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT as prompted in the dashboard. After payment, return to the dashboard and check the order result and plan status in Account Overview. If the status hasn’t updated, refresh the order or reopen the overview rather than paying again while you wait. For order issues, describe the situation in a dashboard support ticket; don’t post payment details publicly.
VPNYW offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. See the refund policy for how to request one. First, confirm that your plan is active; then get your subscription. If you’re still comparing options, see the full plans page for details on monthly subscriptions and data packages. Client setup doesn’t change how plan data works.
Get Your Subscription and Prepare Your Client
Open Account Overview, confirm that your plan is active, then look for the subscription option. The subscription link gives your client access to regional servers and configuration; it isn’t a regular website address. Use the dashboard’s copy button and check for a confirmation message. If the dashboard offers a client import option, you can use it directly without saving the link elsewhere first.
After getting your subscription, open the dashboard’s download section and select your device’s platform. VPNYW supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. This guide focuses on common desktop and mobile setup steps. Client downloads are available in the dashboard; you must sign in and have an active plan to access a working download link and subscription. Don’t use a marketing page URL as your subscription, and don’t download installers from untrusted sources.
Your subscription link may contain information that identifies your account, so protect it like a password. Don’t share it in public groups, forums, or screenshots, and avoid pasting it into online subscription converters you don’t trust. If you need to show support an error, describe the message instead. Before sharing a screenshot, hide the full subscription link and your account details. Paste the link into a client you trust, then check that the import succeeded.
A successful import usually shows a list of regional servers in the client—not just a configuration name. If you see a name but no servers, check that the subscription has been updated, the full link was copied, and your plan is active. There’s no need to change protocol settings yet; first make sure the subscription is retrieved and the server list loads.
Import the Client for Your Platform
Install the client provided in the dashboard for your platform, then import the subscription you just retrieved. The steps are the same across platforms: open the client, find the subscription or configuration option, import, refresh the server list, and select a configuration. One-click import from the dashboard and link import in the client are separate options—you only need one. Use whichever is available, then check that the server list has loaded.
Windows: Import from the Subscription or Configuration Menu
Download the VPNYW Windows client from the dashboard. After installing it, open the main screen and look for an option such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Add configuration.” If there’s an import-from-link option, paste the full subscription link copied from Account Overview, then save and update as prompted. You can give the configuration a recognizable name; the name won’t change the server details. If you start the import from the dashboard, your browser may ask to open the client. Check that it’s the app you just installed before allowing it.
After importing, check the server list, select the configuration you added, then choose a regional server. If the client offers a system proxy switch, turn it on as instructed. A pressed Connect button alone doesn’t mean other apps are using the connection. For your first setup, keep the default mode and leave proxy ports, rules, and protocols unchanged. Verify the connection first, then adjust settings if needed.
macOS: Check Network Permissions After Importing
Get the VPNYW client for macOS from the dashboard. Install it as prompted, then open the app. Add the link from the subscription or configuration manager, or use the dashboard’s import option. If your browser asks whether to open the app, check its name before continuing. Once the configuration appears, update it, confirm the regional server list is visible, and select a server.
When you connect for the first time, macOS may ask to add a VPN configuration or allow a network extension. Grant the requested permissions only to the client you just installed from a verified source, and follow the system prompts. If the client still reports insufficient permissions, check the VPN and network extension settings in System Settings, then try again. For full installation and permissions instructions, see our macOS VPN setup guide. This page doesn’t cover interface differences between macOS versions.
Android: Update Your Subscription and Allow the VPN Connection
Open the user dashboard and get the VPNYW Android client, then install and open it on your device. Find the add or import option in the configuration list and choose link import. Paste in the subscription link and save it. If the dashboard offers an import option that opens the client, you can use that instead. Make sure the configuration is selected and update the subscription; connect only after the regional servers appear.
When the system asks to connect to a VPN, confirm the request came from the client you’re using, then allow it. Return to the client and check the connection status. If the connection drops when you switch to another app, check whether the client is still running and whether the system restricts its background activity. Adjust system settings to allow the app to run in the background as needed, then test again. Don’t rely on the status bar icon alone to confirm that your target app is connected.
iOS: Get the App and Import Your Subscription as Directed in the Dashboard
On iOS, follow the instructions in the user dashboard’s download section to open the App Store and use the specified client link. After installing the app, return to the dashboard to get your subscription. In the app, use the link import option on the subscription or configuration page. If the dashboard offers a working one-click import option, follow the prompts to open the app. Don’t paste a regular website URL into the configuration field. After saving, update the list to load the regional servers.
Select a configuration and server, then connect. When iOS asks to add a VPN configuration, verify the app’s source and approve it as prompted. Return to the app to check the connection status, then open the website you want to access. If your device has other VPN configurations, make sure the one you just imported is active; the VPN indicator may otherwise refer to a different configuration.
Connect to a Server and Verify It Works
Choose a server in a region supported by the service you want to access, then connect. VPNYW’s international network covers 110+ countries and 210+ routes. The options available to you depend on the server list loaded after updating your subscription. For an initial test, pick a familiar location such as Japan or Singapore. Avoid switching through lots of servers in a row, or it’ll be hard to tell which configuration produced the result.
First, check that the client shows a connected status. Then open the website you need and make sure it loads fully; test the features you actually plan to use. To check your exit region, use an exit IP lookup page you trust and compare the result with your selected region. Consider the client status, website access, and exit region together: a cached page may look fine, and some apps may not use the system proxy. One icon alone can’t confirm that every app is connected.
If the client shows connected but your target page won’t load, first make sure your regular internet connection is working. Then check that the subscription updated, the right configuration is selected, and system permissions are in place. Try reconnecting to the current server, or compare it with another server in the same region. Change one thing at a time and reload the target page. This helps identify whether the configuration isn’t enabled, the app uses a different proxy scope, or a server isn’t suitable for your current network.
Streaming services and AI tools may also consider your account region, payment region, and their own platform rules. A working connection doesn’t guarantee access to every platform or a particular streaming quality. For viewing tips, see our streaming access guide. To learn about the differences between direct routes, relayed routes, and IEPL, see our protocol guide. You can read more after confirming your connection; none of this is required for the initial setup.
Once everything works, keep your current configuration and update the subscription in the client when needed. You can use the same account on supported platforms, with unlimited simultaneous devices sharing the account’s data allowance. To add a device, get the client and import the subscription again; you don’t need a separate account for each device. If you can’t resolve an issue yourself, sign in to the dashboard and submit a support ticket. Include your device platform, the client’s error message, selected region, and steps you’ve already tried. Remember to hide your subscription link.
